Hiking in the Dundas Conservation Area

This amazing tree greeted us as we entered the forest

It seemed to blend into the stone

A peaceful resting area

The forest was dense with thick vines

some trees were heavily... decorated.

Others had more natural adornments

This little mid-tree oasis was home to a particularly large slug. Can you spot him?

Gone to seed...

Stumbled upon a beautiful Lookout

This one almost looks like a painting with all of the colours and textures

Long since fallen trees were home to all sorts of Fungi

This tree made a face at us!

A trail maintenance volunteer was kind enough to take this picture of us all, after explaining the dangers of a certain spiky white caterpillar.
